Below you can read how Just Add People ApS (hereinafter “Just Add People”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes personal data about you when we act as data controller. You can also read about the rights you have in connection with our processing.
As part of running our business, we process a range of personal data. We do this so we can help you in the best possible way. We mainly collect and process ordinary (non-sensitive) personal data.

We process personal data about you in a number of different situations. Read more about our processing in the different situations below.
When you visit Just Add People’s websites (e.g. www.justaddpeople.dk or use our other online services (on e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Spotify), Just Add People may process information about your IP address as well as information about your computer, device and browser.
We also process information about your visit (e.g. information about how you enter our websites, how you navigate around them, which pages you visit, content you view, your searches, ads you have seen, etc.). This personal data is collected through cookies, log files and other technologies.
We use your personal data to make relevant products, deliveries, services and support (“Services”) available to you, and to improve your experience of our websites and online services, as well as the Services we offer. We also use personal data to show you content on our and others’ sites based on your activity and preferences, and to limit how many times you see the same content.
Our legal basis for processing is our legitimate interests in making our website (and online services) available to you (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) or your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the Executive Order on Cookies, section 3).

When you are a customer of Just Add People and purchase via our webshop, Just Add People processes personal data about your name, email address, job title, company address, your purchases, payment details, as well as information from publicly available sources and other information you provide to us.
We process the personal data in order to fulfil our agreement with our customers, deliver the Services, issue invoices, compile statistics, and carry out quality control, as well as to maintain our customer records and provide general service, marketing, and sales to our customers.
Our legal basis for processing is our agreement with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interests in managing your information as our customer (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We store personal data about our customers for up to 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year, in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
When you receive marketing, including newsletters from Just Add People, we process personal data such as name, address, phone number, email address, job title, and product interest. We also process information about your preferences regarding marketing or communication, your use of the marketing we send you (including, for example, whether you have opened an email from us, whether the email has been read, and which links you opened), as well as other information you provide to us.
We process your personal data for the purpose of marketing our business and the company’s Services, as well as setting you up and managing you as a marketing subscriber. We use personal data about your preferences and usage to understand how our customers respond to our marketing and to improve our marketing to you and our other customers going forward.
We only send you marketing material by email, SMS, or another electronic channel when we have obtained your consent, where this is required under the rules of the Marketing Practices Act.
We also use your personal data to show you content on our website and on other websites based on your activities and preferences, to limit how many times you see the same content, and to measure how effective our content and marketing are. For this purpose, we may upload your email address to advertising tools from, for example, Google or Facebook in order to send targeted marketing.
Our legal basis for processing is our legitimate interests in meeting your request to receive marketing from us, which you have consented to under the Marketing Practices Act (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We store personal data about marketing recipients until you unsubscribe or your consent lapses due to inactivity, unless we have another legitimate basis for processing the data.
In accordance with the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s guidelines and requirements, we keep documentation of your consent to send you newsletters until two years after we last used your consent.
When you take part in competitions, we process personal data such as your name, address, job title, phone number, email address, your answer to the relevant competition, and profile name.
We process your personal data for the administration of competitions, selection of winners, etc.
Our legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interests in running the competition and contacting the winner (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
If you take part in a competition with us but are not selected as the winner, we store your personal data related to the competition for up to 30 days after the winner has been selected.
If you are selected as the winner of the competition, we may keep your personal data for a further period. This will depend on the prize we have awarded, including whether there is a claims/complaints period for the prize.
To the extent that personal data is included in transactions, it is stored for 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
When you are a member of the customer club at Just Add People, we process personal data such as your name, address, phone number, email address, position, title, your purchases, and product interests.
When you sign up for our customer club, you consent to us sending you marketing material by email, SMS, or other electronic channels. We therefore also process information about your preferences regarding marketing or communication, as well as how you interact with the marketing we send you (including, for example, whether you have opened an email from us, whether the email has been read, and which links you have clicked), and any other information you provide to us.
We process your personal data in order to give you the benefits that come with being a customer club member, such as invitations to VIP events, special offers, and early access to sales. We also use your personal data to manage our customer club.
Our legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interests in managing membership (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and/or your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and Section 10 of the Danish Marketing Practices Act).
We store personal data about members of the customer club for as long as you are an active member. When you leave the customer club, your personal data will be deleted no later than 30 days after you unsubscribe.
When you visit one of Just Add People’s office(s), we may process personal data about your name, company name, job title, recordings from our CCTV surveillance, and other information you choose to provide to us.
We process this personal data for security reasons. Our legal basis for processing is our legitimate interests in preventing crime (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Where we use CCTV surveillance, we provide notice in accordance with the CCTV Surveillance Act section 3(1). All recordings are stored securely and are only viewed if necessary, e.g. in connection with a security breach. Recordings are only viewed by people who need access for work-related reasons. The recordings are typically overwritten automatically after a short period, unless an issue has been identified that requires investigation, such as theft.
We store information collected in connection with CCTV surveillance for up to 30 days after collection, in accordance with the requirements of the CCTV Surveillance Act.
When you sign up for and attend events held by Just Add People, we process personal data about your name, address, phone number, email address, and which event you are attending.
We process this personal data to administer the event and for security reasons, and to be able to send you relevant material.
Our legal basis for processing is our legitimate interests in holding events (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) or your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the Marketing Practices Act section 10).
We store personal data about participants for up to 30 days after the event has been held.
When you are a partner or supplier to Just Add People, or you are the contact person at a partner/supplier, we process personal data about your name, business address, work phone number, email address, job title, as well as publicly available information and other information you provide to us.
We process the personal data for contract management and to receive goods and services from our suppliers and partners, and where relevant to fulfil agreements with our customers.
Our legal basis for processing is our agreement with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interests in managing the relationship with you/the company you represent as a partner/supplier (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We store the above information about partners and/or suppliers for as long as the collaboration continues. After the collaboration ends, the personal data is stored in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act for a further period of 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year.
Just Add People may disclose your personal data to other suppliers and/or service providers as part of the day-to-day operation of our business.
Just Add People may also disclose your personal data to a public authority in situations where we are specifically required to disclose your personal data under legislation and reporting obligations we are subject to.

We aim to limit the sharing of data in a personally identifiable form, and thereby the sharing of information that can be linked to you personally.
Just Add People also shares your personal data with data processors. Our data processors only process your personal data for our purposes and on our instructions.
In connection with our processing of your personal data, we may transfer the data to countries outside the EU/EEA (third countries).
Your personal data may be transferred to countries where the European Commission has assessed that the level of data protection is equivalent to the level of protection in the EU/EEA (safe third countries).
We may also transfer your personal data to unsafe third countries. The transfer of your personal data to unsafe third countries will be based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), which are specifically designed to ensure an adequate level of protection. We assess whether the transfer basis is sufficient and adopt additional measures where necessary to ensure an adequate level of protection for the transfer.

When your personal data is no longer needed, we will ensure it is deleted in a secure and responsible manner.
It is our policy to protect personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
We have implemented security measures to ensure data protection for all personal data we process. We regularly carry out internal reviews to check whether our policies and measures are adequate and being followed.
As a registered data subject, you have a number of rights under the GDPR. If you want to make use of your rights, please contact us.
You can — unconditionally and at any time — withdraw any consent. You can do this by sending us an email (see the email above). Withdrawing your consent will not have any negative impact. However, it may mean that we cannot meet specific requests from you going forward. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it is withdrawn. Furthermore, it will not affect any processing carried out on another lawful basis.
You can also — unconditionally and at any time — object to our processing when it is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest.
